CAN-Communism, Anarchism, Nihilism as named by Malcolm Mooney, the band’s original lead vocalist, is your favorite band’s favorite band. I had a distinct feeling of Deja vu the first time I heard Can. If you, like me, found Can well after it’s inception, it sounds like a missing link between prog and the bristol sound. Malcolm’s early work with the band lends the tooth and improv of american protopunk. I’m not gonna write a whole thing about it. Just thought since it’s re-found its way into my steady rotation recently I’d share a little in case by some slim chance you never stumbled upon this amazing and very important band. You can follow the source and search or whatever.
